I am not sure about the bikes being for sale, but I noticed that outside Peepers and Timekeepers, they have posted that the surreys are for sale.

I as well am not sure but my warning would be to stay away from butterfly rentals in sea grove. I stopped in last fall to buy a used one and they had 6 to 8 to choose from. at $175.00, yes ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS I said oh no Im sorry I wanted a used one and his reply was "that is a used price".

Bike for Sale!

Hi!

I am selling my bike if anyone is interested. It's a beach cruiser from target, origionally $120. I've only used it twice, and I even have a basket and a lock for it as well.

If anyone's interested, please let me know and we can work something out!

Thanks,

Molly

In all fairness, some of those bikes cost 500 - 700 dollars new so in contrast, that is not so bad. I bought my mom a 3 wheeler for her birthday and it cost 600.00 and I shopped around and that was the best price I found at the time :yikes:. They wanted 675.00 for the same bike at Blue Mountain.

I took that into consideration. And yes I know many of those bikes originally cost several hundred dollars. And the bikes that I spoke of may have originally cost that. But these were just your basic beach cruisers. The seats were torn and the chains rusty.
Now I don't fault anyone at all for making a profit, but just not at my expense.

Thanks to NOLA TRANSPLANT, a friend got bikes for herself and her hubby for $30 each at Seaside.
Great deal!
