CB...strange question, but what do you need the cats for...just to love???

Social experiment perhaps? A sort of feline Lord of the Flies?

You guys are funny! I guess the wording could be seen as suspicious. We are animal lovers!! We would open the world's largest shelter if we had an endless supply of money. We would like one or two litter box trained cats for the inside of our home...yes, just to love and up to four for the outside. The reason we would like more outdoor kitties (we have 2) is that our surrounding pastures have numerous field mice. Cats are one of our home defenses against snakes and field mice. Plus they get a home that spoils them. I just wanted to find free cats in need of a home rather than paying adoption fees. We have adopted numerous times (still have the animals) but have been lied to regarding age, personality, vaccinations etc. by the shelter.

For the record, there are two things high on my hate list...people who hurt animals and people who hurt defenseless human beings.

If she's opening an Asian restaurant, my guess is entrees not props! :funn:

I thought restuarant too, but because feral cats can do wonders for pest control around those big dumpsters.

One caution about outdoor and indoor-outdoor cats in this area is that coyote predation can be very common, especially during pup season.

If you've got a cat that just isn't cut out for 100% indoor life, I'd do my best to keep them inside during the night, which is when the coyotes seem most common.
