Looking for used Sprint phone

My daughter's Samsung phone crashed. ($100 to fix it) We're a year out from getting a renewal with an upgraded phone. To a teen that's a long time to have to use her base-level phone! 😀
As parents, we figure she can get by or buy her own upgrade if she can't wait.
Looking on e-bay there were something like 8000 used Sprint phones! :yikes:

Just thought I'd check with this audience first. Anybody got a good used Sprint-compatible phone they would like to sell my daughter?

Is it Sprint or Sprint/Nextel.

Also a hint before buying on Ebay. Always get the SIM number first and call Sprint/Nextel to verify it's not stolen. They won't activate it regardless of whom you bought it from.

Our phones don't have SIM cards but we have read to get the serial # of the phone we want to buy and check with Sprint to see if they will activate.

I'm not sure if it is Sprint or Sprint/Nextel. I just thought Sprint bought out Nextel so they were all the same now. If not it is probably just Sprint because all the bills come as that. :idontno:

If you don't have SIM cards then it's all Sprint and your fine, don't have any of those laying around. Whatever you do don't get the Instinct, it suuuuuuucks.

All Nextel phones in this market are Moto. and she said she had a samsung phone Sprint PCS all the way

The Samsung Upstage is is the one she broke. She liked it so would be interested I'm sure. Would you pm me info?
