I was planning on attending, but was out of town. Anyone know what happened? How many properties were sold, prices, etc? Thanks!

Many sold pending bank approval of short sale, and many sold as absolute auctions... The list would be too long to go through, and I don't have it, but I know that a bunch a people got great deals...

Actually, I posted the list of all the properties and the selling results at auction. Search the threads for Roebuck Auction.

Interesting to see how many of those actually close. I bet robuck spent more money on the venue than it made on those sales.

With all the advertising paid in advance by the sellers, and the buyers paying a 10 % additional commission, I'd bet money that you are wrong on that. They rented an otherwise empty ballroom, and bought soft drinks, bottled water, cheese and fruit, for about four hours.

I asked a Watercolor Inn manager about the rental charge for the space while I was milling around at this auction, and I can assure you that it was a nominal fee - quite a bit lower than I expected. I think the manager implied that the rate for rental was low, but did not include perhaps an additional $2,500 for coffee/soda/cheese service...
net-net, I'd also bet money that Roebuck made some money on the Nov. auction.
