Makes perfect sense now. Shame he is allowed to continue to hurt people as he apparently has done over the years. Hope the neighbors are checking their water and electric bills as he has been known to tap into neighbors utilities to avoid paying.  Wish he would just get this “house” done as it clearly takes away from the definition of the “scenic corridor”.

I don't know what the story is but it's similar to the watersound project he did where it sat for a couple of years with no work going on, rotting, and then started up again. Seems like the seagrove house sat with no progress for quite awhile until starting back up again recently.

When you see projects that stall out like these, it tells you that there is a money problem. I have heard that he tries to build some of these houses with cash only (no bank loans). That kind of infers that no banks want to deal with him. But, for whatever reason, if a project drags on indefinitely, it doesn’t instill confidence in the builder.

Ace cub reporter and future moderator of multiple forums both local and national Egb here with the latest on local critter JC, not to be mistaken for the more famous and biblical JC whose advent many of you are presently celebrating. Ok with that disclaimer and distinction made— to bidness! local users of a local forum in the locality where critter JC is suspected to occasionally reside and where he is reported to break that most well known of critter rules by “crapping where he eats” are upset today. jC is accused by long time residents of “sh*****g up 30a” and more particularly of detracting from Seagrove’s previous crown turd of design effluence known as the Thumb. Sources close to the story are suggesting possible recourse taken by corporate parents of the previous turd trophy holder to have Jc foreclosed upon and run out of town on a rail...again. After being tarred and feathered....again. We here at EGB news vow to monitor the story as it develops.  like a pimple. A Whitehead waiting to burst. If anyone doubts my journalistic credentials  then I point them to the weather channel auction from a couple of weeks back. Can the County not do something about this house?  It has been under construction for 3 or 4 years and is truly the ugliest house anywhere along 30-a. Feel so bad for the folks around it as it is such an eyesore.
