I kinda like it from the outside. Add a windmill, a yard full of tulips, a few goats, and some beautiful Dutch people in wooden shoes, and it would look like a fairy tale.

The location is great, if you don't mind everyone driving by and scrutinizing your house. If I ever have the opportunity build an unusual house, I think I would try to find a spot a little more secluded, quiet, and away from prying eyes. The house will be for me and my family, not for the general public.

Sort of like the Southern Accents showhouse at WaterSound that had the upstairs porches facing away from the beach.:idontno:

It's got porches all around, and a functional widow's walk at the top. I started shooting it the other day and will finish next week and post.

I'm speaking about the second floor. I have the floorplan. Maybe it's inaccurate.

Cool house at a hot price. Lucky duck who sells it and luckier duck that buys it.

You are kidding aren't you?? $4.9 million for 2500 square feet??😱 Seller will be a very lucky duck if they get anywhere in the same zip code as $4.9 million from someone that isn't a very smart duck.

The duct work is very trendy and reflective of the move toward loft spaces. It is a jarring departure from the more traditional design of the exterior of this house, if you disregard those odd outdoor buttresses. I assume this feature represents some vital function? Otherwise, a poor choice. But I like the spaces in this house and the design, w/o crutches. The price seems mucho high at $4.9M. No pool, all that traffic on 30A, not to mention what has to be an astronomical HOA dues in WaterColor.

I am thinking we have underpriced Conch Out at $1,995,000 to sell. But no offers on that for now. It has 6 bdrms, 6 baths, swimming pool, panoramic Gulf views that can't be blocked, parking for six cars, and grosses just under $100K per year in rentals. Rents almost completely for the season from one year to the next. It has 4,200 sq. ft. inside and another 1,800 sq. ft. of covered decks. A stone's throw from the public beach access and directly opposite the old Washaway House, no need for dune walkovers to access the beach. Has 12 ft. ceilings and a cathedral ceiling great room, two of every appliance. Hardwood floors, stone floors on the ground, carpet on the third story. New quality exterior paint job and decks stained/protected in 2006.

Hmmmm.....:idontno: .....maybe we won't sell, after all. Feedback from you investor/real estate savvy folks on this Board, if you please? Thanks.

Oh, I just wanted to add major KUDOS for the updated virtual tour that Kurt did for Conch Out, when we first put it on the market. She's never looked better!
