Guys and gals:
I moved here in May of 2021. Work from home, and I lived in my same home near Birmingham for 17 years. Sold it, proceeded to move here.
It's rained more than I've ever seen, and that's saying a lot, for a guy from Birmingham.
So, I want to extend my apologies to you all. It appears I brought the rain that I used to get in Birmingham, to the Emerald Coast. I accept whatever punishment you may hand out, with the exception of moving BACK to Birmingham. I'd rather live in Afghanistan. Please and thank you.

SoWal is on the Gulf. In the tropics. It's always rained a lot but now we have Miami weather. Transplants don't know.

Guys and gals:Welcome to our little slice of the planet. We don't mind the rain and usually have daily summer storms. It's a good break from the heat. But yes we've experienced a lot of rain this summer. Wait til you experience our perfect winters.

Would you mind moving to Chico , California for a couple years? I've got a cousin over there, and they get about 1" of rain per month.

Memphis has had more than our share of rain this past summer also. So much so that our backyard looked like a rainforest. Paid someone to clear cut it with some heavy equipment (Caterpillar skid steer loader) and chainsaws. Had so much overgrowth from brush. Not letting it grow back either.
