It is and incredible place to see and I encourage anyone that would like to go to a peaceful, beautiful place to go ASAP. I know "The Forgotten Coast" will not stay that way forever!
We stayed in a wonderful house in Indian Pass called "Hatchling Hideaway" (the owners are from Wisconsin!...how did someone from Wisconsin find our beautiful beaches?) that could accomodate 14 or more! We had 8 in the house and it was fantastic!!! The entire first floor was open and all living quarters!

Friday we did Apalachicola.
Apalachicola was grayt...y'all were right! I was in my element...there was LOTS of grayt shopping!!!:clap_1:
Punzey I found your stores and many more...yes...i bought a trunk full!:clap_1:
We had the best oysters at "Boss Oysters!" I had a dozen myself! If you are into baked ones....there are more than you can imagine!
Here are a few Apalchicola pics:

Yes..I am taking FFF back in a couple of weeks. There is this great place called The Tin Shed, they have grayt nautical antique's. Some interesting characters live in Apalach....kind of like SoWal!
I need shells for my new fireplace at Watersound...it will have seashells in it. When I get time I will post more pictures of St. Vincents Island...I laughed at myself....I packed three net bags FULL of shells....this is after trekking a couple of miles...then I realized...how do I get these back?!:shock: I have to get them back! I drug them! It was toooo funny...I am so sore today....my legs are killing me...took me probably and hour and a half to get back to the shore to be picked up. Here are my drag tracks: Next time...I am taking a beach buggy!

Don't think I went to The Grady Market...after the Tin Shed, I went to a place on the water and had *several* cocktails. Went to St. Vincent's too--spent hours there also. I love that whole area so much....not as much as SoWal but almost.

I bought it is too!;-) I of coure don't have near enough shells for it but, I will be adding those to this huge collection that we got on the beaches after Hurricane Ivan....all sorts that washed up, tons of bonnet shells and other items (we found a top plate of false teeth and a pair of old eye glasses after Ivan also...think I should add those?) found over the past several years...plus...all the shell I have collected off of Crooked Island...so I can say some of them were found by our household.
