Since I'm in sort of a musical mood today, it started me thinking that many times on this board, we have talked about favorite songs, music, etc. But, then I started to think, as I listened to the radio, of songs that just plain make me wanna :puke: and I have to say without reservation, that my # 1 is "Bad to the Bone", followed closely by "Spirit in the Sky". Of course, these are just my opinion, I'm sure they're loved by many. So, I'm interested to hear what you guys have to say...:idontno:

Speaking of cringing, Yes's Owner of a Lonely Heart always made me cringe when they do that screeching metal sound.

Anything by Fergie makes me want to just :puke:
Beach Jacket and I totally agree. Fergilicious is Ferginauseating in our opinions.

Even though Dolly Parton is one of my all time fave celebs, "Islands in the stream" has the same effect as fingernails dragged across a chalk board. Can't stand it, OR "Playing with the Queen of Hearts" AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH:bang:

I love everything by Whitney except for the afformentioned song. She breaks my heart everytime I see her on the news.

Music is a hot topic for me. I may have to come back and visit this one. Right now my cocktail is calling.

BILLY VERA AND THE BEATERS. At This Moment

In case you forgot these stunning lyrics.

What did you think
I would do at this moment
When you're standing before me
With tears in your eyes?
Trying to tell me that you
Have found you another
And you just don't love me no more

What did you think
I would say at this moment
When I'm faced with the knowledge
That you just don't love me
Did you think I would curse you?
Or say things to hurt you?
Cause you just don't love me no more

Did you think I could hate you?
Or raise my hands to you?
Now come on, you know me too well
How could I hurt you
When darling, I love you
And you know... I'd never hurt you

What do you think, I would give at this moment?
If you'd stay I'd subtract twenty-years from my life
I'd fall down on my knees
Kiss the ground that you walk on
If I could just hold you again

I'd fall down on my knees
Kiss the ground that you walk on, baby
If I could just hold you...again

Now to me this is like nails on a chalkboard. :puke:

In honor of my husband checking the Yin Yang Twins in at the Hilton the other night...
worst song in history... Get Low. Otherwise referred to as "skeet skeet".
Ugh.

I'm a big Third Day fan.

My daughter named her car "The Skeet Mobile" from the Ying Yang song Get Low ("skeet skeet, mofo, skeet skeet") just because she liked the song ... great to dance to. That was before she knew what "skeet" meant. She was embarrassed when she found out what but meant, but still jokingly calls it that.

Actually I like that song. Love the music (not the words).

The Ying Yang Twins were at the Hilton at Sandestin?

Yeah, um... Monday I think. They did a show at Club Overboard (under the old Sharkstooth/Nigel Manley's/La Roccos).
