It's snowing in Memphis, and sticking. Looks like it may have started about 30 minutes ago which is way earlier than the after midnight they predicted. Sounds like some sleet mixed in. Love it. Yay. Still have to get up and go to work though, maybe. Ugh.

I wish we would. Still would have to go to work, unless there is ice on the road. We are supposed to have a mix. But right now it is all snow. Wasn't supposed to be here according to the news until after midnight, shows they were wrong again. One thing I saw showed it snowing around 11:00, husband is having to drive home in it from work.

Snowing here, too--the pretty, sparkly kind. It's been so cold here that it'll definitely stick.

Well, what is on the ground in the pictures is all we got. Some freezing rain or sleet started falling before I went to bed but it stopped, there has been nothing else. But supposedly another round is coming in around rush hour this afternoon. Doesn't look like we are even going to get an inch total. Pooh! My son is in the area that was showing 1-3 inches, for last night and today also. First they were showing 1-2 inches for us, now I don't know other than more mix this afternoon with falling temps. That will probably change by noon to none. :(

Interested to talk to my son today and see what they got in Clarksville, TN. His father-in-law told him when they predict just a little there they get a good bit. I know he hopes so. He said he would take some pictures.

Well, my son in Clarksville said they got no more than a dusting like us. But another round is on the way this afternoon and we are expecting 1 to 2 inches all across the area including where my son is. Dyersburg, TN which is north of us by 45 minutes got a good bit on the ground. Deep enough to play in. They always do. So I'm hoping for some tonight.

Your last sentence made me chuckle, but then I'm twisted. My son will be thrilled and I'd love to see what his new puppy thinks of the snow on the ground.

I noticed Lady's last sentence too. The meteorologist last night said to "expect 2 inches but it won't last too long"...Mrs. TripleB said "So, what else is new?".

:lolabove: Poor Mrs. B. :floor: :floor:

That reminds me of the weatherman on a local newscast who was being chastised by the newswoman about his snow prediction. She asked him on air what happend to the 8 inches he promised her last night. I have to see if that's on YouTube...

Yeah, Cheering472, I thought the same thing as several, I guess I'm twisted also, but I'm referring to the snow this time, which started falling here again just as we all left work at 4:00. Sleet is falling in with it.

We have a pretty 1 to 2 inch snow on the ground from what came in last night. Looks like our road is clear from what I can see but can't be for sure. It is 27 degrees. I think it will be gone today, supposed to be in the mid to upper 30's I think so it is short lived. Wonder if River Otter and the Nooga got any out of this system.
