True, it was supposed to hit much farther south. As Audie would say, the meteorologists were incorrect again! I believe they are getting their share for sure.

I have been outside for over 2 hours shovelling. First my driveway then my neighbor's (her partner wasn't home yet to help). I forgot how much I love shovelling! It brings me back to winters in New England and I feel like a kid again. Plus, the snow was incredibly light and fluffy, no trouble at all to lift and toss. Heavy snow is miserable to work with but this was bee-yoo-ti-ful stuff!

we've got 5 inches here according to the dayton news, with maybe another inch before it's all said and done. looks like it's gonna end sooner than the weather gurus expected. my dad called a little bit ago from the top of a volcano in hawaii, said it was a chilly 72 up there :roll:

Is it still snowing in Indy or Richmond? Just wondering how much more we'll get. We probably have about 4 inches. The kids have had 2 days off so far this week and they don't have school Friday. It's going to be a short week no matter what!

Don't know how y'all do it. We lived in the Boston burbs a couple of years ago during a terribly snowy winter, and we were the worst snow shovelers EVER. Just two clueless Floridians doing it all wrong. Couldn't make a decent snowman either. You guys would laugh so hard.

it tapered off here around the same time. i bet we ended up with 6 inches. i am listening to the scanner and the interstate here is a solid sheet of ice, slide-offs like every mile or so. poor mr audie has to go to work too. i will also try to get some pics today.....
