Snow Day!

Ah the joys of snow when it's a novelty!!!! Looks like y'all had funn!

Nothing like a good old snow day! Philippa had 2 days off and she was full of unholy glee about it. I mean, ten times more than usual. She finally told me why: as a senior, she is not required to make them up because graduation is a fixed date. No extra days tacked on the end of the year for her. She was ESTATIC.

Tons of funn and for the last 15 years snow has only been a novelty in the Nooga

Thought maybe it was an innertube from the boat. I do see the runner tracks now. Looks like y'all had a blast. Dylan was out again tonight trying to break through his tunnel. Everything is rock hard now and very difficult to move or clear.

It was off the roads by 10am. I want a BIG snow. Last time I said that was in 1993 and boy did we get a big snow. 26 inches :shock: Boy did that cause some problems

We would tie one of those cafeteria trays behind the car and do the exact same thing!! Man, was that ever funn!! Just think, the little otters will someday tell the same story!!

I hope so. Back before the Nooga was eat up with radon or whatever is keeping the snow away we would get 2 snows a year. My dad would tie the toboggan (7 man ) to the back of our International Travelall and drag us around the hood. Man that was some fun

We have about a foot of snow/packed ice here, but no sledding. It's in the single digits here with wind chill making it feel like 5-10 below. I had on a headband to cover my ears yesterday and my nephew asked me if I was sick.
