Yawn. Yall should just start using cranked up Gators or the RZR. Could most likely beat traffic cutting through state parks with some of them.

Seems like way too much going on for more than a couple people being in vehicles like the ones you see all around 30a. With all the crazy, drunk, angry, rushed, distracted, or novice drivers around the more popular areas I’d feel uncomfortable with 4-6 people including kids crammed in a little golf cart.

I don't understand the attraction of LSV. They're unsafe, slow, don't have A/C or heat, don't offer any protection from the rain, and don't have any cargo space. The electric ones run out of charge if you don't pay attention and take a day to recharge. The gas ones are noisy and obnoxious. What am I missing?

Nothing, you smacked that nail on the head.
Many in our building have them and everything you listed is why I told my wife I don’t want an LSV.
In my old neighborhood I restored an an old one that was given to me and used as a utility vehicle around the neighborhood.
I was too afraid to license it for street use.

Peoples are too lazy to walk or bike. They also think it's fine to drink and drive on a golf cart.

Saw lady in a cart on scenic 98 with a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other.
Was waiting for her to toss the butt on the street, but had to turn before she finished smoking it.

The beer can helps balance the toddler they're holding.

Passed two WCSO cars this afternoon on 98 in Miramar Beach having a discussion with a man driving his golf cart on the sidewalk on the south side heading east.

I saw one being towed.

Good to know one of the traffic enforcement vehicles is a silver expedition.

My son once saw a family in a cart traveling on 98. When they stopped for the light near the Commons he tried to tell them they weren’t allowed to drive on the highway and they begin yelling and cussing at him.

A trolley has been tried repeatedly on 30A and every attempt either couldn't get off the ground or failed shortly after launch. Every one of the ones that had a running trolley died due to lack of use.

I think it would be awesome and enjoyed the last one immensely, but private just isn't going to work. The TDC is slowly building a transit network with the second stop being constructed just north of Gulf Place on 393. It will operate similar to the current one in Grayton. My hope is they will test a connector shuttle and if it takes off then they will slowly keep adding spokes and hubs.

There are only 2 ways to get licensed golf carts off 30A. Raise the speed limit to 36 mph or change state law.
