You must not have heard that story. We were in NOLA for a meeting with the architect for our GA home. We were having lunch, and I noticed Sting at the next table. As an aside, he and the woman he was with looked really hung over and were ordering breakfast, no surprise to me as I knew that he had a concert in NOLA the night before. In any case, I whispered to Mr. BR that Sting was at the next table. Beach Jacket was about two or three years old said in her loudest voice, "STING, WHO?" It was so embarrassing, yet funny. Sting chuckled.

Stacy and I had backstage passes to meet Sting when we lived in SW Florida. Amazing man, and more humble about his successes in music and theatre than we might ever have imagined...

To see the Police reunite reminds me of when the Eagles got back together. Never thought we'd see either happen in our lifetime!

RO, we have some extra tickets! Great city, great show. Our friends in Toronto went this morning to get the tickets and were messaging with Mr. Pod about their progress. In the middle of it all, Mr. Pod sees on the internet that an extra date in Toronto was added. So, long story short, we bought 8 tickets total and only need four. Anyone...?

The extra tickets are for July 22, can't remember if that's a Saturday or Sunday.

July 22 is a sunday...I know this because that is the day we check into our beach house!!!!!!

I Sting. He's my kind of guy.

Does anyone remember when he was in the Police in the late 70's and he was embezzled by his accountant? Funny story.... my mother briefly 10 years ago married Phil Dunne, who in the 70's was a reknowned recording engineer and owned a studio with Gus Dudgeon. (Elton John)
Any hoo, they had the same accountant, and they were embezzled for everything they had. This dude had power of attorney for their homes, bank accounts, everything. Everyone trusted him because he had 3 kids and was a family man.
Well Sting tracked that dude down with a vengeance, and now he is serving time here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/1795482.stm Dartmoor Prison which is like one of the most spooky places I have ever seen.

So 10 years ago while on a trip to visit them, they took me to the Moors and then after many ales we drove up to this prison and they wanted to go in and ask him where the money was (they were broke). :funn: I talked them out of it, and had to drive back home since they were pretty polluted. Try driving on the opposite side of the car on little winding roads!:shock:
