Thanks for all your comments.... it's a caribbean blue and the tile floors are a greyish color which kind of looks opposite the lighter streaks of grey the marble tub and sink.

The hardwoods are going in the bedrooms and hallway. It was all carpet and now all that is gone ... yeah ........ man you should have seen the carpet pad with almost nine years of wear ..... yuck

Now when the children come over, ages 18 and up, they will have an extra bathroom. When they were young they had to share:roll:

OMG..... I am just soooooooo excited. They just finished. Remember those pics I posted at the beginning of this thread. The last two? They were taken on Friday.

Well, here is the area today. The bedroom with the ladder is full of furniture that has an inch of dust on it but look at the floors...... shoes come off at the bottom of the steps for a while

It was a sea foam something from Sherwin Williams. I am thinking it now clashes with the vivid blue of the new bath which is between two of the bedrooms so I don't know if we'll keep it in those two bedrooms. The third bedroom is off the hall opposite so that may stay that sea foam green.

Our whole downstairs is that color. Here's a pic of the downstairs/lakeside kitchen. I just love colors ...... it adds to the spice of life

We have way too much house now that the four children are grown but they can fill it up when they visit, especially with Rica's puppies. She and The Dogs stay downstairs.

Besides, if we sold it we couldn't afford to buy another one on the lake and OMG to move and go through this clutter

The main level is boring beige ..... the way hubbie likes it

That is a fabulous color and I think that is the color of my son's bedroom.

Kitchen knobs are from Abaco. A place called Abaco Ceramics. She makes them right there. Really cool place. The bright yellow fish in the new bath are from there too.
