I used to live in the St. Pete area, so yes, we went to spring training games all the time. I have not been since they moved to "the other cost" But hopefully will get down there someday! :clap_1:

You are confused, I can see and a real fan of the game so let me catch you up to speed....no these are no longer playoffs....a whole new season...starting today and ending in October....hopefully the Cards will get to see fall ball again this year, just think of all the post you will get to read then

Now is the time to start planning SoWallers at Cards' game. A 3 1/2 hour drive is much easier to make than a 10 hr. drive.

YEAH!!! Pick some dates and let me know....bleacher seats are pretty reasonable, or we could get the really cheap seats, not a bad view, but pretty far up there.

Bleachers are $16.00 except for Saturday games, they are $21.00

Outfield terrace are $13.00 -- saturdays $18.00.

I'm seriously considering heading back down to Disney on Saturday for the Braves/Astros game. I'm so happy its here! I loves me some baseball.:clap_1:

I love Baseball! My all-time favorite sport! Being from Michigan, I have loved the Detroit Tigers since 1968! I know that just dated me big time, but NOTHING is better than camping outside with an am radio, listening to the boys of summer! Ernie Harwell used to do the broadcasting. I was in love with Kirk Gibson. My brother played college ball, and semi-pro; I never missed a game of his since t-ball! I used to go to opening day in Detroit every year, freezing our you know whats off! When we moved here, I said I wanted to go to Spring Training for my birthday and I got my wish 2 years ago. We drove to Tampa and St Petersburg and saw the Yankees. We never made it to Lakeland to see the Tigers. I would love to make a road trip and go. My son is starting machine pitch, had his first practice last week. I want to take him to see the pros play. He loves baseball right now - I hope he always will!

Amen sister! Love those Tigers! I even listened to them play the Indians the other day on AM radio! We can watch them on ESPN today at 1pm - Yeah! I hoping to be there on opening day! Who's your Tiger??( this was a promo they played ALOT during the series last year)
