Rest easy girls, the emergency hair team makes house calls. The hair stylist removed the dead thing that had attached itself to Brittney's head. She looks much better & isn't whining as much. We all win!

The challenge was acting and the models had to use their memorizing skills and act out a script. I found it painful to watch. By the time they were done, even my hair was hurting. Oddly enough no stylist here makes house calls. Renee won the challenge and then had an even bigger challenge of picking a friend to share the win. She picks a shocked Dionne, who had no idea she was Renee's friend. Well neither did Renee, but Dionne and her go back to the house with tshirts to look up the word friend in the dictionary.

I know Renee was thinking "I went to ANTM and all I got was this tshirt?" "What about the $40,000 bracelet from the other challenge?" But at the house Renee and Dionne get the prize, family visits. It was interesting to see Renee be so warm and loving to her little boy. The babies were so sweet and I felt sorry for Natasha who was really missing her baby. Heck I was missing my baby too, Memphis is far from Louisville. I was a brave model though and didn't cry. Natasha not so much. Sniff, I'm feeling a little verklempt. Talk amongst yourselves, I'll give you a topic, men who buy wives on the internet. Discuss.

The photo shoot was to be for shoes, really cute ones too. The girls had to impersonate models from previous seasons. They also shot the photo with that model. Cool, I think Tyra should do a reunion show. I was cracking up when homophobic Dionne had to get in touch with her inner lesbian for the photo with Kim (who I thought looked great, wait a minute does that make me a lesbian??) I didn 't see Dionne's shoes, but I think they should have been Birkenstocks, she sold the photo to me.

I also liked Brittney's pictures and Natasha improves every week. Jaslene seems to be going in the other direction. Renee was ok, but while I was watching it I thought the other model with her did better. Jael didn't look comfortable at the photo shoot. At the judging table, she made the mistake of actually speaking to the judges without her interpretor. From the look on their faces you'd have thought they never heard her before. When they returned Tyra finally called her on it. ('bout dang time, the Cover Girl commercial will be here before you know it) I still think Jael takes some great pictures, but please make her stop talking. She was in the bottom two, but Whitney was sent home.

I don't know about ya'll but I liked it better when Jael spoke and I couldn't understand her. Some of the stuff that came out of her mouth on this week's show was goofy. She's refers to herself as "the spreader of life". Did she mean light? Did I hear her wrong? (See this is why you need to open your mouth when you talk.) Or is she preggers and that's what she meant by spreading life. She later said she can't go home "she's not finished spreading joy to the universe". She's failing miserably, these girls are ususally whining or crying. :idontno:

The challenge is to go to Australia and learn to speak well. Yeah, good luck with that. Tyra tells them this dressed as a giant kangaroo with real kanagroos in tow. Poor Natasha either didn't hear or understand the Australia connection until well after everyone else got it. But she does have a language barrier and those rolling marbles probably make hearing difficult. The delayed reaction was priceless and really makes me long for the days when her hair was blond. She scared the real kangaroos with her shrieking and I'm sure glass was breaking somewhere.

In Australia they meet the host of Australia's Next Top Model and get an Aussie slang book. They are sent out on the innocent people of Sydney to do interviews. Dionne was a mix of ebonics and Aussie, she wanted to ax people questions. :bang: I hope my college English professor doesn't watch this show or someone would have red pen marks all over the TV screen. For the most part I was just embarrased for all Americans, as we must really look stupid to these people in Sydney. Natasha won the challenge, go figure.
She is going to be a guest interviewer on Tyra's show. Which means win or lose on ANTM she is not going away. It should be funn to see which of her 3 accents she uses. But she might win it all anyway she's getting better every week.

The photo shoot was the Cover Girl commercial done in an Australian accent. I instantly thought Jael, Jaslene and Natasha would be in trouble. One more accent worked into what they already have? Stop the madness! Well anyway Natasha did well, the judges loved her. Dionne was pretty bad, maybe an accent would have helped. Renee did well. She looked great. Jaslene did OK too. Brittany has short term memory loss from an accident years ago (who knew this?). She didn't do well, but she looked beautiful. Jael is strong in a still picture, but moving and talking she doesn't even look pretty to me. Her expressions distort her features. Tyra agreed, she called Jael "ghastly" on video and sent her home. She leaves the house in a blue wig and a red tutu, because fashion is her life/light whatever. That says it all, except I wonder if kangaroos make good pets. They were so cute.

Jael's been on borrowed time ever since the pool incident. ANTM doesn't look kindly on that kind of behavior. I'll miss her mix of edginess and vulnerability, and hope she gets some decent print work down the line.

Now I guess I'm cheering for Natasha, who seems to be the only interesting one left in the mix.

:clap_1: very funny OL. Didn't that just drive you crazy? I agree that Tyra seems to love Natasha, I like her but they LOOOVE her. I will miss Jael though, I like that you never know what she's going to do.

Well now that Jael is gone the camera men can give the other models more camera time. Namely Brittany, who seems to have forgotten that she didn't have short term memory loss back when they did the acting challenge. But hey isn't that what would happen if you had memory issues? The girls think she's faking it.

It's "go see" day and they are off to see the designers. Dionne is begging for freebies from all the designers. I was embarrassed for her, heck even the designer's dog was embarrassed. Brittany got lost on the street & then got lost again on the elevator (seriously!). It seems like the camera loves her more than the designers did. She has the personality of a rock. None of the designers liked her. She forgot that she didn't tell her cabbie to meet her (see short term memory) and she was late and disqualified. As was Natasha, but Brittany was throwing a hissie and blaming the cabbie for eveything. I thought she was going to blame him for the Iraq war and global warming too. Jaslene wins the challenge and takes Dionne on a photo shoot with Nigel. :wub: The pics on the bridge were pretty and so was Nigel. :wub: Did I mention I love Nigel?

On the photo shoot they take 2 pictures, one "soft" sexy and the other over the top sexy. Tyra is the photographer for the softer picture to be used in a womans magazine. They take the pictures with some really pretty boys, acting sexy shouldn't be too hard here. The photographer for the mens magazine picture was Michael someone, do we care? Nigel would have made me care. Renee and Natasha are all about the sexy. They didn't need much coaching. They both looked really pretty but Renee needs some of Jaels edginess. Where's that attitude we saw earlier in the season? Once Jaslene relaxed she did great. Dionne seemed to be angry. Maybe she just likes it rough, who am I to judge. Brittany looked amazing in her picture and thinks she's safe because of it. But she' in the bottom 2 with Dionne. Brittany goes home. I'm shocked, she was my early pick to be in the final three. I hope she remembered to tell the cab to wait for her.

I agree. I thought Jaslene would have trouble with designers because she originally seemed a bit rough. She aced the go sees. I am more and more impressed with Natasha every week.
