The Ditty Bops recently completed a cross country by bicycle tour. Track three is a presentation for their work. At the San Francisco show, Abby and Amanda were presented with a Certificate of Honor from the city by [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ross_Mirkarimi"]Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi[/url] honoring the duo for their environmental efforts. Coincidentally enough, earlier this week, "San Francisco's Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to become the first U.S. city to ban plastic bags from large supermarkets to help promote recycling." It was Mirkarimi who sponsored the bill. For their latest tour earlier this month with Jesca Hoop, The Ditty Bops wore tops made of plastic bags and urged the signing of their petition curbing the use of plastic bags.

And anyhow, every thread hijack is really a bump, so more exposure. Like the plastic bag bikinis.

You might wait a bit to mention that these suits make it easy to pick up crap on the beach- just take it off, and voila! Trash pick up time! Might get you slapped.
