Yes, I just had sumpin' strange happen in the guessing game thread where I just posted a guessing pix for ya'll. It took me forever to figure it out. It seemed easy before. A new sowal box popped up instead of my pictures browser box this time. I had to resize my photo. I ended up going to manage attachments below the message box.

If you upload your picture to the photo gallery you can then right click on it and the copy it and then paste it into your post. Does this help? You can also upload the pictures to photobucket, imageshack, or some other hosting site and then copy and paste them in your post. Good Luck!!!!

Thanks for trying...I used to do this all the time no problem. Now something has changed and I can't. I'm not sure if it's my computer or what.

OL, try this. If you are using Internet Explorer, Go up to Tools, then click on Internet Options, click on the Advanced Tab, Scroll down until you see multimedia, make sure there is a check mark in: Enable Image Toolbar, and Show pictures.

I don't know if this is the problem but it might help. Also, if your computer hasn't been re-started in awhile, you might want to re-start it.

Maybe there was a glitch in the system and your SoWal.com settings have restored to a default which changed it. Under your User CP settings on SoWal.com, go to "edit options" and scroll to the last setting, "misc options." Be sure that you have selected "enhanced interface - WYSIWYG"

Okay, I attached a pic of what I get when I click on insert a picture or insert a link. It's been like this for a while but I haven't wanted to post many pictures so it didn't really bother me at the time. Now it's really bugging me. It would have been nice to put my pics in with my report. I really appreciate any help. The little "V" graphic was never there before either. I've cleared the box before adding the address...I think I've done everything I could.

I insert the address and then click okay and nothing happens.

Maybe RO can help. He always has multiple pictures in his post and I think he had trouble recently.

I paste the address in and it shows up in the box but when I click okay nothing happens, nothing copies in the post. Really, nothing. ;-)

Well if you call a blinking curser in the post nothing.

OL, you are not alone on this V thang. OK< I used to could copy and paste but now seem unable to do so I did uninstall the Corel photo album thang cuz it was goin' crazy with pop ups tp renew) :scratch: Maybe that's why it won't copy now.
The V box is not working for me either. I never saw it until just the other day! It used to just browse or copy easily it seems.
Now, I'm going below the message window to 'manage attachments' button, then it's not taking so I'm compressing the size of the photo, according to the listed guidelines(you'll see it) and then its uploading the image as an thumbnail image. Hopefully...
I think I 'll take your advice kdw and shut this motha down for a minute. Thanks gull. :!:
