my neighborhood did a huge yard sale today, which i forgot about. Slept late and while walking sweet pea, i spy a draftsmans side table sans the top, slightly rusted but otherwise in fabu shape, on casters! So, i was then walking sweet pea with sniffly nose, toting the poopie sack and pushing my new treasure through the hood. My neighbors were laughing! They really should be used to this by now......i envision a gorgeous piece of pecky cypress maybe 3-4" thick on top for a very cool table! That was the free thang.

Swgb, (i think) you would love this shop - vintage clothes and lingerie! I've been patronizing him for a couple of years - fabulous queen is the owner with unbelievably great taste! Found a beautiful cashmere cape with ostrich feathers all over it and a hoodie.....in light pink. Maybe bb would digg it, too. This shop is in the middle of my hood and this guy gets fancy ladies around the globe sending him stuff for his store......show girl outfits from vegas, dallas cowboy cheerleader stuff, chanel, versace....on and on! Everything is one of a kind. Oh, and those sunglasses - elton john style......fabu!!

So, not sexy in the sexy way, but both very sexy in their own way. Batteries not required........

BR, I soooooooooo thought of you today when I went to Sam Moon--the Disneyworld of cheap jewelry and purses. I was almost blinded by the animal print. I swear, it coulda been Animal Kingdom!

My Daddy is finally coming home today. I can't wait to go visit and talk with him.
There's been a huge hole in my life since his accident in February. I used to always call him on Sundays and it's been 2 and a half months of Sundays without hearing his voice. I'm excited, scared, anxious, worried, happy, hopeful....and most of all....thankful to God for answering prayers.

My Daddy is finally coming home today. I can't wait to go visit and talk with him.

It was just easier not to, and if I did I always ended up in tears, so to keep my girls from seeing me sad and crying, I just saved it 'til I was by myself with my thoughts. My little Jackie caught me a couple of times, and she would pat my shoulder and then hold her hand up and say 'It's gonna be allllllllwight Momma, your Daddy will be allllllllwight."

Someone tried to turn the Starbucks in Peachtree City into a drive-through right before I stopped by for coffee yesterday AM.

ARGH! They stopped serving while the police were starting their investigation. I had to settle for a Diet Coke.

Every morning I am waking up earlier. At first it was cool because I got stuff done in that quiet time before the sun came up. When it got to 4a.m. I was a bit annoyed. Last night 3 freakin AM in the morning!:shock:!!
I did make it through many pages of A Land Remembered but this is getting ridiculous.
What if it keeps going until I just never go to sleep again.

Are you a genius? Hubby is, and his most creative, patentable ideas arrive during the night. He can't wait until the sun rises so that he can record his ideas. Sometimes he gets up in the middle of the night, takes notes, and then goes back to bed.

You must be a genius with a creative mind. Feel blessed for this gift, and take an afternoon nap.;-)
