Just finished watching Sleepless in Seattle for the ump-teenth-time, why do I love that movie so much?

As my daddy would say "It came a Waldo here last night", it poured down rain. It was wonderful to smell rain again. Everything is wet and happy this morning. I bought my sunscreen for the beach yesterday. It is so close now. I can't wait. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!!

Dinner was awesome BTW. Better than usual for some reason. It wasn't just the effects from having a pre-meal cocktail (which I rarely do), an awesome scotch and water which made me a little loopy.

OOPS (re: forgetting Father's Day)!

Tomorrow is Father's Day and Big D's birthday, and we will also be celebrating our anniversary (the 20th) early so we can celebrate all three events with Beach Jacket. Shrimp and grits at Blue Ridge Grill in Atlanta tomorrow after church -- YUM!


I have been making a birthday cake (cherry pound cake) and wrapping mine and BJ's gifts for Big D for almost three hours. We just got back from the beach, and I'm tired (not complaining -- I'm blessed). TEX-MEX as soon as the cake is done!

Them must be some BIG gifts! Three hours???? :shock:
