Me, too, so I'm gonna leave Phil Specter behind and tell you about my dream last night:

It was about this guy, Dan, that I worked with at a camp a few weeks ago. He's a recording engineer/sound guy/whatever for the Sinatra family in L.A.

I dreamed that I ran into him somewhere and was chatting it up, very glad to see him. But the whole time we were talking, I was thinking to myself, "Ewww. He smells awful." In real life, Dan isn't a smelly guy. He sometimes smells like cigarettes, but that isn't the kind of smelly I was talking about. It was kind of a sour, earthy smell--kind of like Mimosas in bloom. It set up a kind of tension in my dream; I wanted to hang out with Dan, but he smelled bad.

This morning I got up and was checking email, etc. and happened to put my hand near my face. My fingers smelled awful. It seems to be the funky new lotion I started using yesterday. I thought, "Ewww. That smells like Dan."

Which is the funny part of this overly long story. While I was dreaming, I was smelling my hand, which was tucked under my pillow near my face. It wasn't Dan after all.

I usually have those kinds of dreams about Hop's brother who lives in L.A. Not sure why.
