Hotlinking takes less bandwidth because they are pulled from someone's else's server as opposed to being uploaded to Kurt's.

No but it's better to have them in the gallery so they're in one place and can be searched and browsed there with comments added.

Yeah, I'm confused too. You have two photos in your sig. I'll be happy to see if I can help but I'm not sure what it is you want to do because it looks like you already know how to do it.

Ok, to truly attach a photo just click the paper clip icon above where you type. That's the attachment button. Click it, browse your computer files, and upload.

If you want pictures to appear in your posts without "attaching" them, then you must first upload them to a photo hosting site which has been mentioned or to the SoWal photo gallery.. Then you can copy that photo and then paste it into your post. If you want to attach your photo when you post a message you will see manage attachments. Click that and then search for the files on your harddrive to upload them.... got it?:cool:
