Possible Allergies?

I get ridiculously sick every time the pest control folks come out and spray. I wake up the morning after they?ve sprayed feeling miserable and it lasts for about a week and a half. The symptoms are usually similar to a bad cold or bad allergies. In the spring we had to have a double dose due to and infestation of fire ants in the house and I got really sick. My muscles and joints ached so much that I couldn't get out of bed for a couple days. It took a while to put the two together, but I think I must be allergic to their chemicals.
Have any of you heard of or experienced such a thing?

Pest control doesn't treat our house here, so no I haven't experienced that. I have had the worse sinus problems for the past week, the pressure headache in the forehead and in the back of my head for a week solid until today. Severely stuffy, ears and teeth aching, burning irritation throughout my sinuses. Not to mention the muscle and joint aches you are experiencing. And I am sure it is the pollen and other blooming things outdoors right now. Might be some stuff inside the office where I work also. It's miserable. But this is the first day I have actually felt half decent in a week. Hope things get better.

My allergist calls that kind of reaction "chemical sensitivity" rather than an allergy. I get them from certain perfumes, chemicals, air fresheners, etc. Had a really bad one on my way home from Sowal a few weeks ago. I was in the bathroom at the Memphis airport and the little wall air freshener sprayed while I was washing my hands. The symptoms are much like those of an allergy attack - but an allergy can only be called as such is causes by an actual allergen - see here:

Ya think? LOL. Can you believe I have another darn cold? Or maybe it's just the allergy attack to end all allergy attacks.
