Last nite Al Gore was interviewed at the 92nd St. Y in NYC by Charlie Rose. It was a compelling and inspiring one hour interview. He is promoting his new book. Al Gore's time has come. It was the real Gore not the shrill stiff we have been accustomed to. I have enclosed the link so you can see it.

Here is the link to the 92nd St. Y. It is one of the best cultural and informational venues in NYC.

I just bought The Assault on Reason last week. I'll let you know what I think when I'm done reading it.

I just saw where a new book on Ronald Reagan outsold Al Gore's book by something like 6 copies on Amazon to edge it out of the top spot. Think there will be a recount?:funn: :funn: Sorry, I couldn't resist:rolling:

The interview was fantastic and in it, Gore may have just given the real reason Bush went to war in Iraq--not oil, not any of the reasons they said, not to avenge Dad, not even to nation build...but, to get ratings back up so the Republicans did not lose any of their power. Listen carefully to the part about Andy Card and "bringing out a new product"...very scary.

I heard Gore's original title for his new book was "I'm Hot and its Your Fault!"

I head it was "I'm gay, and Tipper's just in it for the money."

Before you attack me, I have no problem with gay people (some of my best friends are gay ... seriously), but you'll have to admit that Al has the stereotypical lisp and swish.
