I sure did! First night Melis & I had a WONDERFUL fish dish at a restaurant on Lincoln Street in Miami Beach. The second night we had dinner at the house...pork roast with my blackberry balsamic sauce. One day we ate at Neiman Marcus for lunch! One night we had a wonderful dinner at China Grill in South Beach! We had Glazed Lamb spare ribs and a delicious Confucius Chicken salad, both we shared because the portions were huge! Another night a cute little restuarant near the house where I had a pizza...not as good as Amore, though!
The best was brunch at Nemo in South Beach! The Eggs Benedict were to die for! And they even had sushi on the buffet!

In St Pete I ate at the ball field where Rachael was competing in a softball tournament. The second night we went to Salt Rock Grill and had lobster.....
In Sebring...of course I had mom's FRIED CHICKEN!!! and fried okra.....
Mother's day we ate at the sunset grill on the lake for lunch and I had lamb Chops....YUM!

What, no Joe's Stone Crab? No trip to Miami is complete without it.

They were out of season......:( I have, however, in the past, had Joe's...THE BEST!!!! My uncle knows the owner, so we got in one night in front of tons of people and we had no reservation.... As a matter of fact, I don't think Joe's takes reservations...we just got right in....

Alli, I see a consistent theme to your trips . . . . WATER and food, of course. Glad you had a good time.

Shelly, there were, at the very LEAST, 40 new buildings going up in downtown Miami. I have to say, though, the buildings there are truly beautiful. Miami is a big city, no matter what, but at least the buildings are aesthetically pleasing and in keeping with the "Miami" feel....:idontno:
