Ahhh.....Gatlinburg. If any one single town could prepare me for Destin traffic along 98, it would be that place. :bang:

Hadn't been to Gatlinburg since I was around 19. I had forgotten she was going to Gatlinburg. I am sure they are having fun. That's a place I could visit again easily. Would love to slip on over to Asheville and go to Biltmore House again also. Thanks for the info.

Audie's a smart one to be in the forest where it's nice and cool and pretty. We're baking here in Indiana! Hot hot hot and so dry. I spend the larger part of my life these days out in the garden trying to keep my prize perennials alive. I've lost since given up the lawn; it'll have to go dormant for a while. :(

I don't begrudge you that at all. It's what you deserve, after that hellishly hot summer you suffered through last year! I hope your AC bill is on the low side, too. (Now dream wet dreams for us, okay?)

Hey, Mermy! I've missed you!

Now I remember that Audie said something about her trip.

You're not lying, Mermaid. I reworked virtually all the landscaping in front of the house and we've had less than an inch of rain since the beginning of May.

Hello to you too! I've been such a bad SoWaller since summer started. So much to do. Yard work, house work, odd jobs here and there have cut into computer time and I miss y'all...time for a beach vacation, I think. I know we could use one! ;-)
