I've been emailing back and forth with my brother about dream jobs. He wrote this piece of work this morning. I thought I'd share it. I'm still laughing about it...

"That's the job I want. Just getting up when I want, and taking pictures of the beautiful place that I live and posting them on a web site. It would be fun taking pictures during storms too. I could get a big Hummer with snorkels and a doppler radar mounted on the top, chainsaws and jaws of life strapped to the side and crap like that and.......... drive around and save people and take pictures and send them to CNN and charge them $50,000 a shot. Come to think of it....... its not a bad idea. A friggin' photograher superhero. I think I'll dream about that for a while."

I do some of that, but I don't charge $50,000 per shot, unless any of you want to hook me up with CNN or any others paying. Of course, their photos would take a backseat to yours.;-) Come to think of it, I get paid with something that has much greater value than money ... love. 😀

I'd be happy if I had the jaws of life. I could smash beer cans with it when I wasn't saving people..

:clap_1: Love it! I'd do that too, assuming I wouldn't have to wear a spandex costume.

If so, I'd settle for being the trusty sidekick (every superhero needs one)...the Critter Saver.

You probably wouldn't get too far. Unless of course you installed a snorkle on that scooter 😀

I want to be one of those guys who travels the world doing documentaries on the local food and drink for the travel channel.

I'd even eat the really disgusting stuff with the mind set of "paying my dues".

I would be fat and happy!

I used to dream of writing the ultimate guide to road food, including local Mom & Pops, "meat-n-three's", and good hippie burrito/veggie restuarants. The key is to arrive hungry in a small town, off the highway preferably. Go to a pay phone with a yellow pages and open the restaurant section. There is always some place listed with a great name like "Bummer's" or "Aint Bee's Feedin Pit" or "Garden of Eatin" or similar. You'll know it the second you see it. It's usually on Main Street. Go there, and if you see bouffants, or old men in plaid shirts just hanging out, you know you've arrived. ;-) I recommend the mac&cheese and green beans as your side dishes. God Bless America!!

Too funny...you just described a little diner not far from me and it's on Main St. I took the kids there and they loved it. I had the turkey dinner. All the old men thought the kids were just so cute. LOL No bouffants though.

Anyone watch Rachel Ray...$40 a day? Not a bad job. I wouldn't want it though...my dream job wouldn't include worrying about my budget!

Well, at the moment, I still have two feet which are capable of taking me many places where a $60,000+ Hummer with snorkel cannot go.😀

Where on your scooter will you put the snorkle? :idontno:

I would not put the snorkel directly on the scooter. Instead, I would put the snorkel in my mouth, and hold in in place by stapping it to my diving mask.

Then how will the scooter breathe under water?:idontno:

Well, I guess I will have to stick with my Birki's. Standing upright, I can breathe pretty easily in 3' of water.
