What summer movies are on your "must see" list?
We're anxiously awaiting Harry Potter opening July 11.
Tonight we're going to an advance screening of Evan Almighty. It looks funny and we're looking forward to it!

I know, but I admit I love to watch train wrecks. I was at the arty movie theater here last week and saw this foreign movie, and the Sicko preview was shown...the screen was silent and dark and suddenly you heard George Bush's voice saying something, and there was an audible gasp from all the cheap leftists surrounding me watching the bargain showing of this French movie. You haven't lived until you have screened a lefty hit piece among the target market-it is kinda fun. Besides, I know it will come up frequently for me in conversation, so I figure I need to see the durn movie.

My nephews dragged me to see the Fantastic People and I was rather shocked to see commercials for Army recruitment during a kids movie. 😱

I saw Knocked Up- pretty funny! I laughed hysterically the whole time. It was longer than I expected.
Of course, my 5 year old is very excited to see Ratatouille. 😀
We saw Surf's Up last weekend- I was disappointed. My son didn't even laugh that much!

I love zombie flicks, but you gotta admit there was one serious gore moment when the zombies snagged that guy out of the pub and 'disassembled' him:lol: Shaun was a masterpiece:cool: Rapunz was lukewarm to the idea of seeing hot fuzz, so I am waiting for the dvd as well.

I want to see the horror flick 1408. They are advertising it on tv right now. The man goes and stays at this motel called the Dolphin Motel and experiences paranormal activity. Audie if you were here in Memphis you and I could go see that movie. The previews look great. This is what it is about.
It is based on the short Stephen King horror story of the same name, 1408 surrounds supernatural writer Mike Enslin, an author of two hit books focusing on supernatural phenomena. As research for his latest book, Enslin is determined to check out the notorious room 1408 in a New York City hotel by personally staying as a guest in the fabled room. With the intention that 1408 is just a myth perpetuated by stories and rumor that Enslin has collected for his past works. However, hotel manager Mr. Olin has strong objections to Enslin's stay and only warns him of possible danger to come. But Enslin is determined to go through and convinced that the horrific past of 1408 is just mere coincidence and a myth. But what Mike Enslin is about to experience is no myth, as 1408 truly is a room where the guests don't check out by noon. 😀

I just watched the Fido trailer. It is certainly creative:lol: I still haven't seen Land of the Dead, I am such a slacker. Maybe we can have a SOWAL zombiefilmfest. Well, maybe on second thought, not such a good idea...we gotta go underground to watch these socially unacceptable flicks:ninja:

In high school we had that soundtrack on tape and listened to all that punk music over and over-I know The Cramps were on it!!!:floor: I have probably seen all those b grade movies you have, I lament the demise of the good old Creature Features that have been replaced by infommercials:(

Audie, are you going to see this animal zombie movie?
Black Sheep
OOps, just saw above you know about it, duh.
Sorry, I just don't get the whole zombie movie thing.:idontno:
I don't like seeing the undead walk around trying to eat body parts. :floor:
I did watch Sean of the Dead a little.
That was funny, but I didn't see that scene Skunky is talking about.
