Don't gas prices always go up just prior to Labor Day? Hey, I notice good news in your photo -- the super premium price costs only 7 cents per gallon more than the regular when compared to the normal 20cents per gallon more. Woo-hoo. Super Premium is on sale. I better go get some.

One word - bicycle!

I filled up on Monday for 2.29$, there was a line five cars deep at each pump, and It's true, every holiday the prices go up :pissed: but now it's high priced everyday!!!!!

Supreme gasoline now $3.64 per gallon at our local pumps. Guess we'll have to rethink the high performance engine, 'cause it's not going to get better. A good time for a reality check, in any event.

RiverOtter, you may have to trade in that gas-guzzling boat motor for a paddle. :floor:

I just pumped seventy three dollars worth of the cheap gas into my truck. You know its bad when you walk in to pay and the people behind the counter say "DAAAAMN! We're sorry dude"

I'm not kidding. They really said that. One offered to buy me a beer for my sorrow..

Another bright side is you can earn more frequent flyer miles or points if using the right credit cards to purchase the gasoline.

I'd agree with that - I just filled up my boat on a local Atlanta Lake - $4.09 per gallon (for 89 octane) and a 200 gallon tank - I'm NOT happy... :(

Yes, but you say you own in Rosemary Beach, surely you can afford $800 worth of gas for a little time on lake... Lanier? You may need a team of paddlers for a boat with a 200gal fuel tank.

Here's the plan...

Idle out of the marina to the nearest cove and drop anchor

or

Just sit at the marina all weekend and party with the marina trash 😀

I'm going to idle out to my pool in the backyard and party with all my "trashy"friends. I'll be making SoWal runs in so it will seem like I'm really there and not here. I'll be looking for those pictures. That way I'll have the best of both worlds. :clap_1::clap_1::clap_1:

If I can afford to put gas in my boat I may be there too. Just paid over $3.00 / gal for premium :bang:

Me, too! In addition to sweet little ole me, there are 4 MEN with big MEN vehicles that need GAS!! They all filled up today, plus all the gas tanks we have stored at the dock for the Jet Skis and Wave Runner, John Boat and well the big boat we will have to fill up at the marina! UUUUGGGGGGHHHHHHH!

Just hoping the Nooga doesn't have the shortage that Hot Lanta does. 😱

My sister lives in Virginia Highlands in downtown Atlanta (she's straight thought ;-) ) and said the gas stations there say they have no fuel and won't have any for a while.

I ran my boat down to less than 1/8th of a tank (very rare for me) last weekend :bang: . So I get to pony up this weekend :bang:

Might want to hold off on filling up the boat... they are calling on Americans to use only as much gas as they absolutely need, to help with the shortage.

BTW, I heard today from three different people that Shreveport stations are running out, and people are crossing into TX to fill up their tanks. So surreal.
