Hurricane Gel from the pharmacy. Very few have it without special ordering it. So I try to always keep it in the cabinet. Good Luck!!!!

Ouch....:( Maybe you can get the laughing gas!

Clove oil and poulitices? Poultices are these little gauze pouches with herbs and cloves and they work wonders. Hope you feel better soon, JR!

Thanks to everyone for your remedy's. I've found that handfuls of ibuprofen and a constant icepack stuck to the side of my face has really helped.

No root canal needed! It is truly amazing what dentists can do nowadays. He basically ground out (yikes!) everything remaining of my tooth other than an ever so slight "shell" then took 3-D images and built a crown, glued it in, and I was on my way in 2 hours. Done! He was very proud that he was able to save my tooth. I've never lost a tooth so not sure what's the big deal. But anyway, I'm all done! WHEW!!!! The first thing I got after leaving his office was a big, giant iced latte from Starbucks!

Thanks for checking ~
