What to do?

We will be heading to Seagrove on July 14th. We go just about every year. We usually are on the beach during the day and drive into Destin at night and let the kids do the go cart and putt putt thing. Does anyone have any suggestions or is there anything new to the area that we should try? Thanks for any input.

Go see Underpants if you have somewhere to drop the kids. If not, see Beauty and the Beast. Camp Showtime might be fun for the kids, too. (Not that anyone here would have anything nice to say about that crazy instructor...;-) )

The Seacrest Fountains are fun. Especially at night with the lights. It has to beat driving in to Destin!

Yep, last night around 10PM they were deserted;even in the middle of the day there is plenty of room for kids of all ages to roam.:cool:

My five nephews (ages 11-17) have always liked to fish, ride bikes, and kayak -- they're into sports and nature, not the Destin scene. No nieces. My daughter (who is now in college) has always been the indoor type (she sunburns easily because she is so fair-skinned). Even as a child, she liked to do the same things she does now once she has her fill of the pool/beach -- watch movies, shop, dine, play games, read, and listen to music. Heck, that's what she does when she's not at the beach!
