The Sermon I think this Mom will never forget.... this particular Sunday
sermon..."Dear Lord," the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven
and a rapturous look on his upturned face. "Without you, we are but
dust..."
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who
was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill
little four year old girl voice, "Mom, what is butt dust?"

There was a DJ on the country radio station where I used to live that told a story about taking his four-year-old niece to a Catholic service. After standing and sitting numerous times, the little girl finally got impatient and yelled, "What is this, a GAME?"

I never know when to stand or sit, as every church is different. It gets especially funny at weddings when the guests are unfamiliar w/ that church and are different denominations. Last catholic wedding I shared a pew w/ various lutheran sects and a buddhist raised hindu! Looked like a game of whack-a-mole!
