Our very good friends that we met on the beach a day or two after 9/11 are seriously thinking of moving to sowal. They were in Atlanta and moved to Seattle last year. Nothing against Seattle but are not sure about raising their kids there. Any hoo they are coming to sowal next week and have asked me to arrange some type of get together in order for their kids to meet other kids from our area. There daughter will be going in to the fourth grade and their son in 6th. Any suggestions for getting together, even those with children of other ages. We could meet for pizza, play at the beach....appreciate and :welcome: any and all ideas.

We lived in Seattle for 5 months when our kids were young. Beautiful city, but the cloud cover, rain, and lack of Southern hospitality were more than we could stand. :yikes:
