As many of you know, Sarafunn and I will be heading to SoWal in a few weeks. This will be my first SoWal experience (unless Destin counts?) so I was hoping to get some suggestions since you all seem to enjoy the place quite a bit. So, what are some "musts" that I need to experience while I'm there? I already assume there will be plenty of this: and this:

get kitty tanked at the beach club and take her to the red bar. she will surely dance on the bar.
p.s. do not drink anything she mixes up in the blender

Kayak on Western Lake! The first time in my life I ever stepped into a kayak was at WaterColor and it changed my life (well not really but ever since then SoWal + Kayak is our magic formula for funn!).
Sit outside at Seaside or Rosemary Beach at night when they're showing the movie or giving a concert or performance or whatever. Doesn't matter what. Just be outside in the evening with the stars above your head and the sound of happy laughter and chatter all around you and a glass of wine in your hand...it's heavenly (even the packs of little kiddies won't bother you, promise ;-) ).
I could go on and on but I'll let someone else chime in too.

You must take Shamu to Grumpy's for a tat. Some type of adult beverage should be ingested in mass quantities prior to the visit, in order to achieve the optimum results.
If Kitty is there don't forget the bean dig and Frito's. She will need to eat these on the way.
If possible get a recording of jfunn, being amused (NOT!) that the bean dip and Frito's are being consumed in her vehicle. This is not a requirement, but would add to the overall experience.

Beach Bimmer, I did not know it but at the end of June my family came in, behind my back, painted the cutest platter in your place for my b'day! They talked about how grayt y'all were! They did a big platter with a palm tree and little flip flop painting with all of there our names on it! Too funn!
