We leave this Friday for our trip tp paradise. Can't wait. We are taking the grandkids this year plus a brother and sister in law for their first trip to the beach. Really looking forward to this trip. My son has moved back home from vegas so he is going with us also.

Not sure what age your grandkids are, but we brought my 5 year old grandson down to Seagrove a couple of weeks ago. He loves Pirates of the Caribbean, so we took him on the Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise in Panama City. Have to make reservations early though...they book days in advance. We had a blast...it was so great watching him and the other little pirates have so much fun! That was his very favorite part of the trip, with the beach and condo pool coming in a close second. Gulf World trailed behind those activities, but only because it was sooooooo hot the day we went!

And what better way to top off a hot day than to run through the fountains at Seacrest. He thought that was such a hoot!

We made some great memories. Have fun on your trip!

We have reservations for the cruise on Thursday. We saw the post about the cruise and thought it would be grayt funn for the kids. Also we will be staying right across the street from the fountains. The kids go from 4 to 10 years old so they are still very impressionable and should really enjoy things.

it's amazing what the grandkids get away with that the kids couldn't.. you moms know exactly what i'm talking about..... my niece and nephew get away with everything - lord knows my sis and i couldn't.

The hourly countdown has begun. Only 20 hours until we leave. We will be on the raod at 0500 Friday morning and stopping in Clanton, Al. for the night. Getting up in the morning and going straight to the peach farm for fresh fruit and then on the road. ETA is 1:00 Saturday afternoon. It can't happen soon enough.:cool: :cool:

We will have plenty of room and the more the merrier. We have some cancellations at the last minute and there are 12 of us going and the house sleeps 22. We are staying at Neptune's retreat. It is #10941 on vrbo.

I am trying to get a couple of things acomplished here at the office but it is too hard to concentrate. The excitement is boiling over.

We had a couple of cancellations so we have some empty rooms. My son and his fiancee and her daughter had to cancel due to dance class. My son is none to happy and since he is not going, a friend of his and girlfriend backed out.
