painting technique

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

COOL. I would have never guessed.

upside down drawing is really fun. You would be amazed at what you can do when you remove all familiarity from the subject. It is one of the techniques taught in the book, Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.

I remember seeing this video clip of an [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xddN-ysrFlk"]YouTube - Jimi Hendrix live painting by Denny Dent[/ame], many years ago. It floated around in my mind for a long time, and here I find it again.

I saw Denny Dent live once several years ago...it was totally amazing.....later I was working on fundraising for Seaside Neighborhood School and we attempted to get him to come down and do a concert for us....i think it was somethng like 40,000 plus expenses......needless to say....Denny never made it to Seaside...BUT I've never forgotten his work.....

I love this, I think somone, maybe seacrestkristi (??) posted this not too long ago in a thread for something else. It's awesome. I gasped out loud when I saw the finished picture. Thanks Allifunn for sharing it with everyone.

way cool:clap:

that is sooo cool. I did see him at a charity event and after he was done his painting was auctioned off. It brought in a high amount but I don't think it would have covered $40,000 plus. 😱

amazing!

 That is so cool!!!
