I just looked at the list of 2005 Atlantic storms. Yesterday was the 2 year anniversary of Gert hitting Mexico. That is 7 named storms, including Category 4's Emily and Dennis. Hopefully we will continue to have a nice, quiet storm season:yawn:

Let's not forget that Andrew was the first storm to hit in 1992 and that was not until August 16th. But that being said, I hope you're right about having a slow hurricane season this year Skunky! 😀
