I called her during intermission last night exactly while she was just getting into Shrinkiport, I mean Shreveport, and I did a rain dance here in NY to take it away from her having to drive in it.

Miss Kitty, well don't ya know,Pearl,MS is just across Pearl river from Jackson, Ms I remember back in the 80's when I tried to get a friend to go in with me to open a motel there. I'd just driven back from Denver and stayed in Paris,TX in a place like the KEy West inn At the time I though it was a good place to stay when you were passing through. She said I was crazy NOBODY wanted to stay in Pearl. Now there's a new baseball stadium (AA team) and a Bass Pro Shop and new outlet mall being built.Who knew??I live about 18miles south of there. Now you know all about Pearl,Ms (formally known as the trailer capital of MS)

Oh, one more important thing, my son owns Ranco Transmission Service in Flowood,MS which is right by Pearl and Jackson if anybody has transmission problems while on the road away from home he's the man to see. He's the 3rd generation owner of the shop. I hope this isn't being too bold, please don't take it that way everybody. I only meant he's good and he's honest.I know a lot of folks do pass through this way on the way to Sowal.Like I said please don't take this as really advertizing, just use it if you ever need to.Thanks (now I'm scared to post this)

Just talked to dd...they have arrived! They have unpacked and are now on the way to show those precious grandchillren the BEACH for the first time! She promised to take pics.

Just saw a little bit of the marriott-- But it is just on the east side of Jackson. Is it where Faith Hill is from or was that Star or am I dreaming?

Faith Hill is from Star ,Ms which is about 20 miles to the south of Pearl.
