OL, the photo you took is exactly how I wear my hair. And it is shorter than yours. My guy layers and texturizes (sp?) it a lot more. Then I use a fair amount of mousse and wax to "piece" it.

But your new hair cut looks great! You do have such beautiful hair!

Yes, I can always go shorter...that's why I didn't say anything! I had it cut like this a couple of years ago. I've also had it more texurized and peicey ( is that a word?) But for now this will do. I think I can still put it in a ponytail if I want to so that's good. Thanks for the compliments gulls.

I chop mine too but mostly my bangs. I really should have been a hair dresser. When I was little I cut all my Barbies hair and when Marie ( Donnie & Marie) got her hair cut short of the show..I cut my sister's Marie doll to match.

Got pix? I remember getting in the bathtub with all these Barbies with really bad haircuts and when they are wet, they looked even worse. :rofl: and I'd step on them by accident because they were so many and they'd squeal. I'm still not sure if the water or the haircut. :funn:

OL, that's a good cut on you and I like the back, too. You obviously have a good working relationship with your hair stylist because I don't see you ever being afraid to try something different. Kudos to you!

Mermie, I used to be afraid but not anymore. It does help when your hair is kind of longish. If they screw up a short hc then your are screwed! I actually tried a new stylist. She cut Sam's hair and it turned out so well I gave it a shot. Kenneths has a very well trained staff so I wasn't too worried. They're always the most current with the styles and the newest cutting techniques. Ever since my girl moved to Cali a couple of years ago I haven't been a very loyal client anywhere. I may keep going to Jade though. She's only 22, from a small town and moved down here to go to school and try to make it on her own. She just got engaged and is working to help pay for her wedding and a house. Sweet girl.

I did this too, and they all got cut way too short. Only one survived the scissors and she ended up getting purple dreadlocks instead. They all look a little 'butch'.
