That stinks..take a Tylenol PM next time. Then a Rockstar or Redbull when you wake up.
I wondered what you were doing up so late....or early.
ANTICIPATION - gets us everytime. Good Luck in the race.Go, Otter, Go ........
The mind races before the body!!! Good luck RO!!!!
)Wow- congrats RO- that takes true determination! So proud of you!![]()
I bet you will sleep like a baby otter tonight
RO, it's awesome that you're doing a triathalon, especially the day after driving back from the beach. I can relate to the insomnia -- even before something as easy as the Peachtree Road Race, I'm so anxious that I can't sleep.
Hope you do well!

With a 1/4 mile left in the run I hear slap slap slap beside me..... it was a 44 year old dude (built like Hop but about 6'4") wearing Tevas  .......

Probably hit the waterpipe just before the race too
Sounds like you did well. It wasn't long ago when we were selecting team names for your race team and names like, "Saved the best for last," came to mind. Congratulations on passing that mark. With a 1/4 mile left in the run I hear slap slap slap beside me..... it was a 44 year old dude (built like Hop but about 6'4") wearing Tevas  .......Tevas?

Tevas? You must be kidding ... athough we saw a lot of teenaged girls running the Peachtree in flip-flops.
Yup.... Tevas

How in the world. Don't they get a little slippery from the sweat????
How in the world. Don't they get a little slippery from the sweat????Teva makes many different types of shoes/sandals. I met a guy wearing Tevas while hiking the AT. Everyone else, except for a few ultra-light hikers who were wearing running shoes, was wearing boots. Although there was this one guy I met who was walking it barefoot. I have a feeling that he didn't make it too far, but I was surprised that he had already walked barefoot over the mountains for about 40 miles when I met him.

Grayt job RO!!!!
