Note to self: Be more careful pruning, especially when you have a piano lesson tomorrow.

(At least I wasn't using the chainsaw today!)

Just a couple of stitches, but I have to rethink my typing pattern....

 Me too, Aud. And mr. dd uses duct tape.

I told the Doctor that if it weren't for the piano thing, I would have used duct tape on it. I've certainly done it before...

I haven't tried Windex yet, but Lysol is grayt on fire ant bites!

This is my first experience with Darvocet, and it's kinda dissappointing. So far, all it has done is make my finger stop hurting.

No--I am a pruning snob. I do everything by hand. (No pun intended?) I hold a branch with my left hand, and prune with my right, using a Felco #2, pictured below. Somehow my pinkie got in the way!

Dilaudid, my drug of choice. Purely medicinal, works best in an IV, act like you have a kidney stone and they'll hook ya up. Of course I was literally on the ER hallway floor before they decided I was in enough pain to get it.
I'm naming my next kid Eli or Lilly, Merck just didn't sound right.

My Dad's a butcher; I grew up seeing him come home with little pieces missing. (I'm sure he didn't sell his accidents.)

Sheesh. Have I ever even seen you with an injury, Eagle Scout?

Smiley j could have sewn that up lickety split with his suture kit.

Love the bandaging- does it have to be as big as a bat for 2 weeks?:idontno:

You are "pre-forgiven" for all typos due to "the finger"!!
Yes, I have some experience in that dept. Once, I sliced right through a glove, then through my finger and what must have been a nerve ending :yikes: while trimming a Ficus Tree with a bread knife. I learned my gardening lesson with that one and I also no longer trim art projects with a Boning Knife. ;-) The list goes on, :bang: but I get safer with each experience. :D

I just remembered, you don't need hands to play the piano. Those fingers are just a bonus. ;-)

Update: 1) My doctor can't count. He put in 3 stitches instead of two. 2) I took the giant gauze weinie off today and had a piano lesson. I won't lie: It hurt. But I survived it.

Here's a nekkid picture, just to let you know I survived. It's not a close-up; I know some of you are delicate.

(I never noticed that I hyper-extend my thumb until y'all pointed it out.)
