Bike riding today, another bottle smashed on the path, thrown from a car in a successful attempt to litter the path with glass. Once again it is a bud light bottle. If you come across a broken bottle smashed on the bike path, chances are good it was bud light! Yesterday, running the beach I came across a small pile of cans and bottles on the beach! Yup, bud light. Continuing my run, about every few hundred feet another bud light can in the surf.... for 2 miles! It is like that is how long it took to drain it and toss it in our ocean.
It makes me wonder..... Do people who drink bud light have a litter gene???

Obviously Alabama folk. I was ridding down 30A on my road bike (yes on 30A not the bike path ;-) ) and watched the garbage men toss a bag towards the truck. Didn't quite make it. Landed on the bike path and so did the broken bud lite bottles.
Funny to see people's expressions when you clean up the beach around you. I'll pick up any sort of trash out of the water or around our chairs even their chairs
and take it to the trash can.

Hey Jack while we were on vaca in Seagrove a couple weks back we picked trash out of the ocean pretty much all week.....have never experienced this before down there, people are pigs

People who don't want to spend a couple extra dollars on beer that doesn't suck are also lazy enough to bypass the trash can.
I have a friend who will approach litterbugs on the beach and say, "Excuse me, but how would you like it if I walked into your living room and took a crap on your floor? I feel the same way when you litter on my beach."

I haven't noticed that the littering (at least in my yard) is restricted to one brand of beer, but laziness is definitely a huge factor since they are littering within several feet (sometimes inches) of a trash enclosure w/ multiple containers!
Often the post trash pick up location of my garbage cans is further from the enclosure than these slobs' trash!
Not just beer bottles, but coffee cups, cigarette packs, and water bottles too!

this always worries me when we are out in my car - i think i would have a stroke if this happened !
