WU, I think you were looking for this thread. Personally, I think God would prefer Dasani, which is pure, after filtration, water. You and I both know that Coke makes Dasani.;-)

Actually - I think he would prefer Fresca. It's fresh, clean, few calories and it's not just your mother's Fresca anymore. I've also found that all the Fresca drinkers I've met are good people though I've known bad people to drink Fresca but only because the vending machines were out of Coke, Diet Coke and Grapico and they had already put their money in.

Actually, though I would agree. Coke. Coke is "the real thing" which sounds more godly than the "choice of a new generation," which everyone knows is always less godly than the generation before.

I don't know about your Fresca choice, although I am a fan except for the fact that it contains no caffeine. Fresca contains Nutra Sweet which causes cancer, and cancer can be only the chaos which the devil creates.

Have you ever had a Coke or Pepsi down in Mexico? Why does it taste like that? Not Godly.

Funny thing is, when I've been south of the border sometimes I can't find Coke or Pepsi, but they always have Tab.

Are you insinuating that if God chooses one, the other is left for the long arms of Satan, aka. - ugly people?

Tab..hmmmmm. The first diet soda, orginally sweetened with saccharan (which sounds eerily close to sacrament) yet orginally introduced by Coke in May (the month of Easter) 1963. Yet more ecclesiastical, dare I say even scientific, proof that Coke may indeed be the preferred refresher for the Holy Ghost.

No, SJ. I'm not judging Pepsi drinkers, though I don't agree with their choice of softdrink - and it IS a choice which is evident by their own slogan "CHOICE of a new generation". They can drink Pepsi in the privacy of their own homes. I just would prefer not have to see them do it and I don't want them raising their children to become Pepsi drinkers.

Maybe all that is true, but saccharin is a coal-tar derivative. Yuck. BTW, saccharin is known to kill lab rats when given in super-size me quanties so it must be the devil's work, thereby making diet coke with Spenda the choice for God.

Ok, on the Costco bandwagon now. A company from Canada called Talking Rain has lightly carbonated beverages called sparkling ice. 1 carb and 3 calories, sweetened w/Splenda...3 choices..black raspberry, pink grapefruit, and orange mango. Fantastic and about 12.50 per 20/case. Coke/Pepsi can't/won't make beverages that taste this good.

Fret no more! On your next trip to Walton County, head to Mossy Head. Their water system was just voted the best tasting in Florida, beating out Zephyrhills (The City of Pure Water). It was a Cinderella story, David vs. Goliath.

Bring some empty Ozarka containers; fill them up. I would say maybe at the McDonald's. The restroom there is usually clean.

If you don't believe me, here's the story.

Kurt obviously was not invited to take the pictures of this highly charged event.

That sounds great, but Miller had specials over the weekend, $3.99 per 18 pk for Miller Lite. Coors and Bud followed closely with $4.49 per 18 pk. For you guys without calculators, Miller Lite was priced at 22cents per can and Bud and Coors were priced at 25 cents each.

WWJD - What Would Jesus Drink? Fantastic, priced at 63 cents each or Miller Lite at 22 cents each? By the way, Starbucks Frapp prices dropped to $7.29 per four pack, and Coke is priced at $5.00 per 12 pk, bringing it to 42 cents each. Personally, I like Guiness, but they are cost more than $1 ea. This stuff is like 4 for 1. Hard to want to drink Coke or Pepsi in times like these.

My daughter's boyfriend took back a trunkload of that cheap Miller Lite to the ATL yesterday. We stashed away a few ourselves. Unbelievable to save virtually more money than you spend.

I know what you mean. The $3.99 Lite had instant savings coupons equalling $7.00. Wow!

Target doesn't get my business here in Montgomery. THEY DON'T SELL BEER! Is that a company wide thing or a bible belt thing??? :idontno:

About the Coke products in Mexico, why do they taste so weird? The diet coke I bought there said "Coke Light" on the side but otherwise looked just like a diet coke.

He would prefer Coke Zero. And he would make sure that it was in all gas stations and available everywhere I go.

I have never been to Mexico, but maybe it's the water that makes the drinks taste funny.:idontno:

Coke Light in Mexico has only half the cocaine as regular Coke.
