Since Golf is supposedly an acronym for "Gentleman Only, Ladies Forbidden," I've often found it interesting that ladies would play the game, without calling it something else. I mean, there are Boy Scouts, and there are Girl Scouts, and although there have been people of the opposite sex testing the entry waters into both groups, the names by far, fit their membership.
