I think you must mean FULL moon? If so, that would be the weekend of september 17, my birthday, which i will be celebrating in soWal! A fine time to visit i'd say. C'mon, now! I know that's why you're asking.... ;-)

I think we are just past half moon. I don't know the forecast for tonight much less for the full moon. Typically, I look out the window to get the forecast, but know it may be totally different up the street. I do keep a lookout on NOAA.gov for hurricane info, but that is it.

This exactness is only of importance to science nerds, armchair astrologers such as myself (busted!), and those who like to see the colorful ring around the moon that often appears on the night of fullest lunation. It's gonna be big and beautiful, and when it rises it will be like a giant orange.
