Any "America's Got Talent" fans out there?

I will admit that I loved this show this season. That might be tacky of me, but whatever. I was so glad that Terry Fator won -- the Roy Orbison skit was awesome! My second favorite was Cas Haley. Like Piers said, he did Sting better than Sting. Up until the Roy Orbison skit, Julienne Irwin was my favorite. It is amazing that a fourteen-year-old girl has so much poise and so much talent. But she is pitchy and needs voice lessons before she's a million-dollar talent. I didn't like Butterscotch at first (don't particularly like the beatboxing), but when I saw her at the piano, it reminded me of Alicia Keyes which put her in my personal top group. I think that all three vocalists who didn't win will probably get contracts, so they'll do just fine.

I am such a fan that yesterday I watched the entire season of reruns on Bravo (while doing laundry, paying bills, etc.).

So, were any of you "America's Got Talent" fans this season?

Any Big Brother watchers out there? I miss the evil doctor Will.

I admit that I do watch Big Brother, but am not really enjoying this season. Not enough of a mix in ages this time. I loved the All Stars game with evil Will and Mike.

I love SYTYCD! My son really got into the b-boys and cried when HOK went home. He liked Dominic too - that dance with the chair was unbelieveable. My favorite was Sabra. She made dancing look effortless, and was feminine, graceful and athletic at the same time. My favorite dances were the Hummingbird and the Flower and Danny and Neil's Two Princes! I am thinking about taking my son to see them in Atlanta when they come in October.

Yes, Mary's laugh is extremely annoying. Nigel must want to wear earplugs when she starts giving her opinion.

With all the reality shows out there, I thought Moonlight
(a new show coming this Fall about a vampire detective) was going to be a new vampire reality show. :idontno:

MANgo tinkled his pants. Wanted to know if a vamp got voted off, would they vote who got voted off and by what means?
1) death by sunlight
2) stake in the heart
3) holy water

and does hoh (Head of Household), like Big Brother, get preferred blood or a better coffin? :floor:

I didn't watch this one. The previews looked entertaining though. Was the winner that good or did you like him cause his name rhymed with Gator?
No, I didn't know that until the end.;-)

We watched it. Beach Jacket told us it was better than Hell's Kitchen that we also had watched this summer. She and I used to dream about having a restaurant -- we love to cook -- but we decided from these shows that it's too stressful.

Beach Runner- In my office we always talk about the shows on the night before. It seemed I was the only one watching AGT. I think there were a lot of closet watchers-people don't like to admit watching anything "Springer" related....but I loved it! Loved Terry Fator and wanted him to win. He really was very talented and diverse. I thought I would die laughing at the frog Orbison singing "Crying":floor:

Why in the world is it not called "America Has Talent?" I have the same problem with AOL's "you've got mail." I want to say, "No, you have mail..." I think the steroids are getting to me.

I saw the final announcement last night and was glad the guy won who won. He is very talented. I liked them both. The rest of the million $ talent wasn't so great in my super humble opinion. Julienne is real cute. She'll do something. Gotta go! Going to West Side Story at the Fox tonight.

Oooooh! So jealous!

Oh, Hoff was horrible! Would have loved to have heard Piers' true assessment.
;-)

I heard about 5 seconds of it on the radio and it made me want to drive off the bridge.

ALSO, please tell me how anyone can watch So you think you can dance? My daughter is even a dancer and I cannot bear to watch the woman judge. She is beyond obnoxious. She's like Marie Osmond on crack.

TiVo it and fastforward through the talking. I thought Mary was extremely annoying, at first. She grew on me--she is just a person that has a lot of genuine enthusiasm.

Drives me crazy, too. Like the Clay Aiken song, "If I Was Invisible." It should be "If I Were Invisible." Why don't people use the subjunctive case?

We weren't much into SYTYCD. I suppose it's because we don't know enough about that art to know what's good and what's bad, except for the extremes.

:floor: :floor: I'm a sucker (pun intended) for all vampire/genre stuff. However, I'm a little worried about this show. The promos look a little weak - but I'll still give it a shot. Bravo to CBS  for trying something besides a CSI/Cop/Lawyer show. (I have my faves of these -- but come on.. do we need three CSI's? :bang: They got it so right with the first one  - I can't watch the others.)
