Long time reader, first time I've written for advice. I have a problem. You see, there's this forum I subscribe to. And try as I might to take the high road, invariably, I end up posting something about thongs, buns, or speedos. I just can't seem to stop myself. I've actually killed perfectly good threads that didn't deserve to die. I need help. What can I do about this?

O.K. I'm actually just participating in a support group to help me overcome my addiction to SoWal.com. Of course that is like an AA meeting at Coco's. I guess that in the long run, some people don't really want to be helped.

Hi, my name is Sueshore and I am a SoWal message board addict.

Ditto. Also I hear ya about hitting the "New Posts" link. But I started back to work this week, and it's taking me hours to catch up. Also, I have been very distracted by watching the Katrina coverage on CNN. I keep hoping to catch a glimpse of Tulane or some of my favorite homes and buildings to see if they survived, not to mention watching the sad stories about evacuees.

I enjoy interacting with you all via this message board. My husband gives me a hard time about it though. He has, like, two posts on the board. I still <3 him.

My husband's given up a long time ago. This is one addiction he knows he can't win against. Happy Belated B-Day, cck!
