Fashion Advice

My friend Ann is coming to Florida Sept 24 for a week long meeting. She's asking me what the heck is:

Florida Casual
Florida Business Casual

I know what it would be for me....but I'm not real fashion saavy, so...help!

Plain flip-flops
Sequin flip-flops

Men wear polo shirts or collared shirts w/ dress shorts or slacks - maybe w/ a blazer or sweater in the evening if it is cool. Women wear skirts, casual dresses or slacks w/ nice blouses, shells or sweaters and tend to be more dressy in the evenings.

Lots of linen, silk, and lightweight knits in neutrals and brighter colors & patterns than one would wear on the East coast or larger cities. No nylons, formal suits, dark colors, shorts or t-shirts (except at the beach). Designer/dark/tailored jeans are ok w/ a dressy top, your favorite pair of faded Levis not so much.

I think they add the Florida to remind you that it will be hot/muggy so bring lighter/more breathable fabrics and leave the black at home.

EDITLOL....it was just weird to see my name under the title of this thread...my main fashion is more like.....

sometimes if i am feeling wild and over the top - i will actually comb my hair before leaving for work....
