yesterday... and I take him to the vet today (Mon was a holiday).

What an incredibly weird dog I have...
They take his temp the usual way and while Im holding him I look at his back end and his tail is waggin uncontrollably
Then comes the blood work- the vet says they have to take it out of his neck:shock: so I turn my back cuz I'll pass right out and I hear him whimpering...then vet says "I havent even poked you yet!" The closer the needle gets, the louder Tommy gets and vice versa

Anyway- bloodwork was perfect, have no clue why he spazzed out on me but I cant get that image of the thermometer stickin out his rear and that tail going 100 mph  :idontno:

Our dog has seizures every so often. Our vet says it is the beginning stages of epilepsy. I hope your little one is doing better!!

I, however, let them take the blood and the temp while I stepped out of the room. Something about a thermometer in the rear that gives me the willies...

I asked the vet about that b/c I'd done some research yesterday and he said from the blood work it was unlikely...prolly the flea collar I had on him. Said just to watch him and log if it happens again. This is the first time- that I know of...
